This is the rough draft full-length video highlight that our students on the ASD Student Advisory Board shared at the March SAB meeting. This was edited down to 3 minutes for the actual presentation 🙂

Thanks to all the teachers who have let Zoey, Sophia, Emma, and Taylor skip class over and over this year to go to these monthly half-day meetings!

PRO-START IS GOING TO NATIONALS!

Your Pro-Start teams represented at state and swept the competition, with both the culinary team and the management teams taking first place. They are headed to the nationals in Baltimore next month!

“LA LA PROM” // Despite what you ask yearbook kids, the theme was actually “City of Stars,” but they still took some great photos..

PROM COURT PHOTO SHOOT // Thanks to all the teachers who didn’t mind Prom Court being late to class last week. We appreciate you.

PURPLE UP ON FRIDAY // We are celebrating the Month of the Military Child (and a top-secret new award being announced next week) by wearing purple on Friday.

ALASKA WORLD AFFAIRS // Mrs. Logan’s classes participated in the Alaska World Affairs Quiz at Beartooth in February. We had ten teams, which was 7 more than any other school 🙂 One of our teams took 3rd over all!

ESPORTS AT SERVICE: The team visited Service a few weeks ago for an in-person match. They have team photos this Wednesday and start playoffs this Thursday!

SCREENLESS CAMERA ADVENTURES // We got a screenless camera. Gen-Z loves them. We don’t know why.

Cheer @ State! // The Basketball cheer team competed in March Madness for Cheerleading last month.

SOCCER & TRACK BEGINS // Girls and Boys soccer will field both JV and Varsity teams this year. They have started early season games at the dome. Track has also begun and did well at the Big-C relays this past weekend.
