School Picture Day retakes were October 15th, 2025

Senior Portraits & Surveys were due November 6th at 11:59 pm.
Students were encouraged to check their senior portrait and quote status in the hallway from November 10-21st. Thank you to those who submitted forms to changes!

Senior Tribute Ad sales closed on December 1st, 2025. Late senior tribute ad sales are now available for full-page tributes only. The $25 late fee for adding pages to our book that is incurred by our publisher, is included in the current, final price of $250. If you missed out on buying a tribute and still want one, please complete your purchase by December 15.

Senior Tribute Ad proofs are emailed out in the order they were received. Parents should be seeing proofs emailed to them this week. If you receive a proof to review, please respond to the email within 72 hours so we can get them signed off!

2025 Yearbook Info
The 2025 yearbooks were distributed on May 2nd, 2025. The spring supplement was distributed August 20-September 15th, 2025. Additional copies of the supplement are availble by emailing handeland_mackenna@asdk12.org. We are COMPLETELY sold out of 2025 books. To avoid heartbreak this year, order your 2026 book NOW!

2026 Yearbook Info

The 2026 Yearbook is on sale now! It is $70 until December 31 and $80 from January 1st-March 31st. Any remaining copies will be $100 if we have any remaining during distribution. We have had a limited sell out the last two years, with 60+ people on the waiting list both years. We do often receive “overruns,” aka extra books from our publisher, but those can be as few as two books, so there is never a guarantee that we will have any on distribution day.

Senior Info

Congrats to the class of 2026 on making it to your senior year! Here is all the info you need to know:

-Order your book NOW so you don’t forget: yearbookforever,com
-Go to school picture day, even if you plan to submit a senior photo. This year, we will not save a space in the alpha groups for seniors who do not attend school photo day. Seniors who do not attend school photo day (or retakes) but do submit a senior portrait will be featured at the back of the senior portraits section.
-Senior portraits can be submitted here. You must be logged into your ASD google to access this form. It is due on November 6th, 2025. Do not wait until the last minute. Students must submit thier portrait since this is also where they complete the senior survey. Parents cannot complete this for their children. If you have a student who needs assistance completing the form, please contact handeland_mackenna@asdk12.org at least two weeks before the deadline.
-Senior Tribute Ads will go on sale August 11th, and will close on December 1st. All families who order before October 15th can use code EARLYBIRD for 10% off.
-Interested in purchasing a yearbook and a senior tribute ad? Consider the “Senior All-In” package, which includes your yearbook, a full-page senior tribute ad, an i-tag, and a clear book protector for one package price.
-Alaska Middle College students can be placed in the Chugiak Yearbook, but will be on a separate AMCS page unless they attend picture day at Chugiak. The same senior portrait and survey deadline will apply to AMCS students as to general Chugiak Students. No exceptions. As an AMCS student it is your job to stay up to date on this information by checking Yearbook’s social media, reviewing our website, and reviewing the weekly Mustang Minute.
