A Mustang Round-Up of “Good Things” at Chugiak!

SEMINAR: Sophomores continued from the WDS Cross Seminar with another conversation on Love. They studied “Adolescence and the Teenage Brain,” and “Should We Scoff at the Idea of Love at First Sight?”

CLOSE UP: Yearbook did staff headshots in late February.

STUD GOV: Student Government also completed their headshots in February.

Student Gov squeezed in some quick group photos, too.

BASKETBALL SENIOR NIGHT: Boy’s B-Ball celebrated 3 seniors on Feb 25. Cheer and Girls’ have no seniors this year. Cheers to returning starters! The Mustang Band also hosted an “8th grade night” and were able to play as a pep band with over 30 incoming 8th graders. ARTS + CULTURE: Band and Orchestra spend the first hour of spring break on a field trip to Fur Rondy Carnival and First Friday at the Museum, where they celebrated friends who were on feature for Youth Art Month.

MUSTANG MONDAY: Chugiak kicked off WACKO spirit week with “mustang Monday” on March 14.

OFF-OFF BROADWAY: The Chugiak-Eagle River Choirs did an incredible job performing their musical revue on February 24-26.

ARTSY: Some new photos from adventures in the art room!

TAKING ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION: TEA Club continues to save the world.

NOT GUILTY: Mrs.Metzer’s class put Dr. Frankenstein on trial for child abandonment and reckless endangerment. He was found not guilty!

There are three dress-up days left this week. Don’t forget the head-to-toe black for WACKO on Friday!

Still need dates for Soccer, Track, and softball/baseball senior nights. If anyone knows for sure which teams are fielding JV’s, let us know! We hear women’s soccer has a JV this year!
